With the new Partner K 950 Chain, Partner’s saw range gains a versatile
and efficient machine that can solve new cutting problems in a variety
of applications. The Partner K 950 Chain is a gas powered saw with a diamond
chain. The K 950 Chain is based on the popular K950 Active, and it features
all the technical and ergonomic benefits of that machine. With a concrete
chainsaw you can cut better in tight spots, you get better control while
avoiding gyro forces, you can cut sharp corners without overcutting and
you can make up to 14" (350 mm) cuts from one side. This makes the
concrete chainsaw a perfect complement to a Ring Saw with a blade, where
the Ring Saw does the pre-cutting. Reliable
technology with unique new possibilities
The Partner K950 Chain is a handy, versatile and easy-to-use cutter,
that is just as convenient to move around as an ordinary gas powered
saw. But with completely new possibilities and applications. For instance,
it’s easy to cut through 14" (350 mm) thick walls, ceilings
and floors from one side, you can also make square openings as small
as 11 by 11 cm. By using a concrete chainsaw, the work gets done more
efficiently, with cleaner cuts and less finishing up.
Active
Air Filtration™ – For unrivalled cleaning of the intake
air
The Active Air Filtration system consists of three separate filter systems.
The first stage utilizes the centrifugal forces of the flywheel, separating
80 to 90 percent of the dust particles from the intake air.
The remaining dust gets caught in the next stage, an oil-impregnated
adhesive filter.
The third stage is a folded paper filter, which forms an additional
level of protection, to prevent the cutting dust from entering the engine.
The Active Air Filtration system minimizes the risk of abrasive cutting
dust being carried into the engine by the intake air. The result is
that the cleaning interval for the fixed filters is extended by 3 to
5 times, which decreases costs as well as downtime.
SmartCarb™
Keeps power levels high
Partner’s unique carburetor with SmartCarb™, the integrated
filter compensation, automatically adjusts the fuel/air ratio as the
air filters become increasingly dirty. Together with Active Air Filtration,
SmartCarb™ ensures high power levels, better filter economy, lower
fuel consumption and reduced emissions.
Easy Start
reduces pull-start forces by 50%
Thanks to the Easy Start decompression valve, the force required to
pull start the machine is reduced by one half. This means that the cutter
is exceptionally easy to start, which reduces the physical strain placed
on both the user and the starter mechanism.
Dura Starter™
increases the life of the starter mechanism
Our patented, sealed starter mechanism, Dura Starter, is practically
maintenance free, thanks to a unique design which seals the return spring
and the pulley bearing. A number of different seals prevent the cutting
dust from reaching the essential parts of the starter mechanism. Dura
Starter now has a stronger starter cord which increases its durability
by many times.
Automatically-lubricated
clutch bearing increases product life and ensures operation
The self-lubricating clutch bearing is a unique feature of all our petrol-powered
cutters. A duct in the crankshaft supplies lubricant to the bearing
so that it is always lubricated and so cutting dust is kept out.
Easy, tool-free
chain tensioning
The side-mounted chain tensioning makes it easy to tension the chain,
without any tools at all.
Easy assembly
of bar and chain
The external chain makes it easy to assemble the bar and chain.
Water flow
is simple to adjust
The water flow is adjusted during operation using an accessible tap
on the handle. The hoses are arranged so that they don’t affect
the ergonomics or the balance of the machine.
Large spray
guard
The large spray guard prevents the operator from getting wet and dirty
from water and slurry.
Specially-designed
hand protection
The hand protection, with its replaceable rubber coating on the front
handle, protects the hand and also works as a support in vertical cutting.
The handle has openings that allow a good view of the work.

Since the air filters are so well sealed, the K950 Chain is very easy
to keep clean. When the work is done, the machine can be pressure washed
without risk of water entering the filter system.
